What Goes Unsaid

I don't want to write a post about me. I'm not cool. There's nothing great, cool, yada, yada about me. However, my God is Crazy Cool! I could write about Him all day!

I'm always afraid for someone to read a blog post and think I'm writing specifically about them, or to them as a "wink, wink you need to straighten up."  Ha! Not even. No these blog posts are very introspective. What God is teaching me in that exact moment or a lesson I've had to learn the hard way over the past few years.

I've been in bible studies or church before and felt like, "Alright, seriously who told you what I'm going through. Or what a screw-up I am."  But nope, that's God speaking directly to my heart and sometimes it's very hurtful.

I pray that no one reads these words and thinks I'm speaking directly about you. Usually if I am I will send you a note letting you know :)

A Fool follows his own wisdom and makes his own mistakes but a Wise man learns from the mistakes of fools.

I pray that God will bless and teach you from the mistakes of this fool :)

His Clay,
Melissa

Ecclesiastes 4:13
Better was a poor and wise youth
than an old and foolish king who no longer knew how to take advice.

  1. I love this post on so many levels. I used to write another blog and my goodness did people think I was addressing them personally when they had not even entered my head that day! I love that God speaks directly to us and the moments that you feel like he sent a memo to the bible study, blog or whatever. He has been doing it to me a lot lately and I am so greatful I am on his speed dial!

  2. Exactly! I love how you put "being on God's speed dial". It's really awesome when God can use His people to speak directly to our hearts.
